Obra que Walter Benjamin (1892-1940), reúne los recuerdos vividos durante su infancia en Berlín. El fue un filósofo y crítico alemán, miembro de la Escuela de Frankfurt, su pensamiento estuvo marcado por el marxismo y el misticismo judío, en especial el de Gershom Scholem.
