Elmar Grin es el seudónimo del escritor ruso Alexandr Vasílievich Grin, nacido en 1909. Durante la Gran Guerra Patria, Grin fue soldado, oficial de transmisiones y corresponsal de algunos periódicos del ejército. Su novela "El viento del sur" obtuvo el Premio Stalin.
